First seats installed at the new SFS

The Sydney Football Stadium Redevelopment has reached a significant milestone with the installation of the first seats.

The stadium will provide 42,500 seats it total, all undercover to guarantee a fantastic spectator experience with all seats being as close as possible to the field of play.

The seat design has been created by award-winning Indigenous artist Tony Albert, with the theme “Two Worlds Colliding – Water and Land” telling a story about place and country, while providing a nod to the contest of two competing teams.

Up to 400 seats can be installed each day, with all seats expected to be in by the middle of next year.

Work to build the new Sydney Football Stadium is progressing in accordance with a COVID19 Safety Plan. The below video shows the latest construction progress on site.
