Anzac Memorial Centenary Project

Enhancing the Anzac Memorial to mark the centenary of the First World War.

About

As Australia marked the 100th anniversary of the First World War, the NSW Government together with the Trustees of the Anzac Memorial Building, embarked on a project to enhance the Anzac Memorial. The project was funded by the NSW and Australian governments, and realised the vision of the original architect, Bruce Dellit. It has introduced new spaces for the community, allowing the Memorial to tell the stories of NSW’s involvement in all military and peace-keeping missions and honour those who have served.

Infrastructure NSW led the design and delivery of this project on behalf of Veterans Affairs. Construction was complete in late 2018.
