Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct (SICEEP)

Darling Harbour is about to undergo its biggest transformation in 25 years. Australia's largest convention and exhibition facilities, Sydney's largest red carpet entertainment venue, a hotel complex of up to 900 rooms plus a new urban neighbourhood in Haymarket will be part of one of the most exciting urban renewal projects the city has ever seen.

The project will also reaffirm Darling Harbour as Australia's premier gathering place by creating an exciting and vibrant precinct that brings delight to Sydneysiders and visitors alike.

The new state of the art facilities will generate $200 million annual economic benefit for the NSW economy. Across the precinct, there will be more than 2,000 jobs during construction with ongoing employment for 4,000 people.

The NSW Government is delivering the project in partnership with the private sector to allow faster delivery of the convention, exhibition and entertainment facilities, draw upon global industry expertise, foster innovation, and achieve value for money for the people of NSW. Design excellence, environmental sustainability and community engagement will be central to the project every step of the way.
