Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island

Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island is the new home for Sydney's major trade and consumer exhibitions while world class Sydney international convention, exhibition and entertainment facilities are built at Darling Harbour.

Now open, Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island offers up to 25,000 square metres of high quality space specifically constructed for Sydney's exhibitions and tradeshows.

To ensure exhibitors and consumers can easily reach the venue, the NSW Government is providing special event transport on show days. The venue is a fully equipped, hard-wall structure that provides all the services needed for successful events.

Large public exhibitions and trade shows attract more than half a million people each year and generate annually about $100 million in economic benefit for NSW.

For example, Sydney International Boat Show organisers report each one of their shows turns over $450 million, including follow up orders. That means about $5 million per hour. The Boat Show provides work for about 5,000 people.

During the redevelopment at Darling Harbour, Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island will support the thousands of exhibitors and associated businesses - such as riggers, electricians, fit out companies and caterers - that rely on large exhibitions for their livelihood.
