Plans for Darling Harbour hotel on public exhibition

18 September 2013

A development application for the proposed International Convention Centre (ICC) Hotel is now on public exhibition at the Department of Planning and Infrastructure. Submissions can be made until 4 November 2013.

The ICC Hotel will support the success of the new world-class convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct by offering accommodation to international and domestic delegates, and will help satisfy some of the demand for accommodation in Sydney.

The harbourside hotel, which is scheduled to open in late 2016, is part of the NSW Government's vision for the 20-hectare redevelopment site at Darling Harbour - to create one of the best places to live, meet and be entertained.

For more details on the hotel, please read the fact sheet.

The hotel development application (DA) was lodged by Lend Lease, which is also part of the 'Darling Harbour Live' consortium developing the public buildings and upgrading the public realm.

To view the DA and make a submission visit the Department of Planning's website.
